General Information

Ken Seeley has remained involved, professionally and personally, in recovery since 1989. He applies his relevant experience and boundless enthusiasm to profoundly change the lives of people who suffer from the disease of addiction - both the addict, and the addicts' family and friends. Ken works to save lives every day as the founder of Intervention911. His organization is one of the most prominent and successful private intervention services in the country. Ken was previously featured on the A&E television series Intervention. Ken was recently honored to speak before British Parliament about the importance of Intervention and the Continuum of Care to help create lasting recovery for those suffering from addiction.

Certified as a Board Registered Interventionist-II and Registered Addiction Specialist, Seeley himself has been clean and sober since July 14, 1989. Since then, he has worked full-time in the business of recovery. Today, Ken still derives the greatest personal satisfaction from the hundreds of interventions that he has conducted, organized, or facilitated through Intervention 911.

Seeley's personal experience of addiction and recovery fuels his desire to impact others in similar situations. Ken grasps the full understanding of the addict's behavior. His innate compassion for fellow addicts continually bolsters his ability to connect and communicate with addicts and their families. Seeley has applied his personal struggle with addiction to the intervention equation. This is an asset that has become a valuable catalyst in Intervention 911's impressive results.

After years working as an interventionist, Ken saw an oppurtunity to help those struggling with addiction in another equally important way. Many people complete 30, 60, or 90 day treatment only to arrive back in treatment a short time after because of a relapse after returning home. The key component to long term sobriety is structure and accountability. Sober living is vital to sucess after treatment as it gives the addict/alcholic a safe atmosphere to learn how to apply the concepts that were learned in treatment, as well as a high level of accountability. At Ken Seeley recovery community residents learn how to live their daily life free of substances and also practice new behaviors that will help them live a happy life in recovery.
